- Hike to Humantay Lake: 1.5-hour ascent (3 km) to the turquoise glacial lake.
- Return to Soraypampa: Descent back to the base.

Cusco to Mollepata
- 4:30 a.m. – We begin our adventure with pickup from your hotel in Cusco.
- Travel for approximately 2 hours through beautiful Andean landscapes to reach the town of Mollepata.
- Enjoy a nutritious breakfast in Mollepata to fuel up for the hike ahead.
Mollepata to Soraypampa
- After breakfast, continue our journey for approximately 1 hour to Soraypampa (3,900m above sea level).
- Soraypampa serves as the trailhead for our hike to Humantay Lake.
- Receive a briefing from our guide before beginning the ascent.
Soraypampa to Humantay Lake
- Begin our 3-kilometer ascent to Humantay Lake (4,200m above sea level).
- The hike takes approximately 1.5 hours and is considered easy to moderate in difficulty.
- For those who prefer, horses are available for rent at an additional cost.
- Enjoy spectacular views along the trail. On clear days, witness the imposing Apu Salkantay and Apu Humantay mountains in the distance.
- Upon reaching the lake, marvel at the turquoise waters contrasting against the snow-capped peaks.
- Free time to take photos, relax, and participate in a brief offering ceremony to the mountain spirits (Apus).
Return to Soraypampa and Journey to Cusco
- Begin our descent back to Soraypampa.
- Board our transport and return to Mollepata for a buffet lunch.
- After lunch, continue our journey back to Cusco, arriving in the late afternoon.
